Standards and achievement: High pupil achievement in all subjects is our priority. We recognise that pupils have talents and strengths in different areas and it is imperative that these are nurtured and accelerated within our academy. Reading, writing and maths fluency provide the fundamental knowledge for accessing the whole curriculum offer.

Aspirations: We strive for our pupils to be happy, healthy young people who have the knowledge, academic achievement and strength of character to lead safe and successful lives. We prepare our pupils for their next steps in education or employment with a thirst for lifelong learning. We are committed to supporting their physical health, safety, and emotional wellbeing throughout their journey with us.

Inclusion and preparing children for ‘Modern Britain’: We recognise and celebrate all diversity within our academy.  Inclusion drives the school’s work and shapes leaders’ moral purpose: all pupils must feel valued. Staff make sure they know every child and they keep a sharp focus on the most vulnerable pupils. Relationships with pupils and families are the building blocks for a successful educational experience.
